Karen is an experienced bid professional with 20 years’ experience helping organisations win work through high-quality, compliant tender submissions.

With a background spanning bid co-ordination, bid management and tender writing, Karen has supported clients across housing, construction, compliance, facilities management, property services and professional services. She has managed and contributed to hundreds of successful tenders, frameworks and SQ/PQQ submissions for SMEs, regional businesses and national contractors.

Karen is known for bringing structure, organisation and a level-headed approach to the often-chaotic world of bidding. She quickly gets to grips with client requirements, keeps teams on track and ensures submissions are compliant, persuasive and delivered on time. Her strength lies in bringing together people, information and evidence to create compelling bids that reflect a client’s true strengths.

Taking a practical and collaborative approach, Karen works closely with operational teams, subject matter experts and business leaders to develop win themes, strengthen content and improve bid quality. She is passionate about helping organisations build internal capability, improve bid processes and increase tender success rates.

Karen enjoys sewing and crafting, where she can completely switch off and focus on something creative. Usually with several projects on the go at once, it’s one of the few areas of life where there are no deadlines! She also enjoys pub quizzes, travelling and exploring the countryside.
